Touré Yaya Will Stay At Barcelona

Touré Yaya has been one of the more unheralded stars of the January transfer market. Rarely regarded as a high-profile player, he is currently being tracked by a number of big clubs including Arsenal, Manchester City and Juventus.
But the player’s representative, Dimitri Seluk has quashed all transfer speculations once and for all when he declared on Catalan radio station, RAC 1, that his client will not be leaving Barcelona during the winter trade period.
“Touré is playing well at the moment. I am 100% sure that he will remain at Barcelona for the rest of this season because he personally wants to stay on,” the agent affirmed.
“However, in the summer, things will be different. Anything can happen then because Touré has received a lot of important offers [from other clubs] and Barça will be getting a lot of offers too for the player.
“It is also worth remembering that he has always given his best for Barcelona since joining them and he has been very consistent, just like he was at Monaco,” Seluk stressed.
Catalan-based daily Sport is also reporting that the agent will take this opportunity to press Barcelona to offer the 25-year-old an improved contract if they do wish him to retain him beyond the end of this season.
