Palermo Fans Want Fiorentina’s Pazzini

One of the most talked about players of this transfer window is Fiorentina’s Giampaolo Pazzini, and the striker is virtually certain to leave the Viola shortly, with a long list of Italian and English clubs keen to get him to sign a contract with them.
The attacker scored nine goals last season for Fiorentina, and was impressive all round, but this campaign has seen Pazzini struggle to find space in the Viola line up, prompting the move that awaits him.

Palermo, Sampdoria, Bologna and Torino are all reportedly following the Fiorentina striker, while Genoa, Napoli, Udinese, West Ham and Everton have recently joined the hunt to sign Pazzini before the close of the transfer window.

At the moment two teams seem to be in pole position in terms of a potential transfer, with Udinese and Palermo both reportedly closing in on an agreement.

According to a voting poll available to Palermo fans on tuttopalermo.net, 76.88% of the Rosaneri faithful that responded would love to see the 24-year-old Pazzini playing for their side, while only 23.13% were against the transfer.

The Palermo sports director Walter Sabatini is apparently attempting to iron out a few details in the deal in hopes that his side will be able to capture the talented Viola striker, who recently handed in a transfer request.
