Seria A – Juve Lose Again, Udinese Hold for Draw

Serie A NewsJuventus suffered their second successive defeat, while Napoli were held to a 2-2 draw by Udinese.

Cagliari extended their unbeaten run to six games and climbed to eighth as they defeated Juventus 3-2 at the Stadio Delle Alpi.

Davide Biondini broke the deadlock for Cagliari in the 16th minute before Juventus stormed back to lead at half-time.

Former Liverpool midfielder Mohamed Sissoko equalised after 31 minutes and veteran playmaker Pavel Nedved then struck on 38 minutes.

However, Cagliari were not to be denied and emerged triumphant after a dominant second-half display.

Jeda made it 2-2 nine minutes after the interval and Alessandro Matri grabbed the winner 12 minutes from time.

Udinese recorded their first victory since October when they beat Juventus in midweek and they achieved another encouraging result as they battled back against Napoli.

Ezequiel Lavezzi fired Napoli in front after 24 minutes and Marek Hamsik added a second three minutes later.

Udinese reduced their arrears through an Antonio Di Natale penalty on 32 minutes and levelled on the stroke of half-time thanks to Fabio Quagliarella.
