Di Michele Wants to Stay at West Ham

West Ham - Di Michele

West Ham Football News - David Di Michele joined West Ham on loan from Torino at the end of the summer transfer window, a move that initially seemed beneficial as he put in some good performances.

However, since his ‘honeymoon’ with the Hammers, Di Michele has not found consistency. But with Craig Bellamy moving to Manchester City this winter, the striker is confident that his English adventure is not over.

“My goals are to play more and to score many goals, so I can remain at Upton Park at the end of the season, because West Ham is proving to be a real great experience and I’d like to stay longer,” revealed the 33-year-old in an interview with the Daily Mirror.

“Of course, it depends on a place in the first team for me, because if I do better on the field the club will try to keep me.”

Di Michele has scored four goals in 16 appearances in the Premier League this season, assisting Gianfranco Zola’s side to eight place in the standings.
