Inter Still Want Aguero

Atletico Madrid - Sergio Aguero

Inter Milan Football News – Atletico Madrid president, Enrique Cerez, has made it abundantly clear that star striker Sergio Aguero will not be sold, unless the asks the club to sanction a move.

However, according to Tuttosport, this will not stop Inter from attempting to bring the Argentine international to the San Siro this summer.

The Nerazzurri continue to look for a valid striking partner to play alongside Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Hernan Crespo and Julio Cruz have not made much of an impact this season, Adriano is plagued by inconsistency and Mario Balotelli is prone to off-field troubles. Therefore, Aguero may fit the bill for president Massimo Moratti.

Argentina coach Diego Maradona recently stated that Inter is a great club for members of his national team and since Maradona is Aguero’s father-in-law, he could be swayed to move during the summer.

The Mattress-Makers have been struggling lately and are currently fighting to remain in the Champions League zone in the Primiera Division for next season. Any bid for Aguero would likely involve a substantial amount of money, upwards of €20 million.
