Chelsea Ready To Bring Trezeguet To London

Juventus - David TrezeguetPremier League giants Chelsea are ready to make a formal offer in the region of €8 million to secure the services of Juventus striking star David Trezeguet. It is suggested that the Old Lady want to get more money out of the deal, however, they are prepared to start negotiations with the London side.

Should the Corso Galileo Ferraris directors agree to let Trezeguet leave for England, Juve are likely to replace him with Udinese and Italy star Fabio Quagliarella.

The Neapolitan hitman has long been a target for the Old Lady, who are prepared to offer money and the services of striker Michele Paolucci. The 23-year-old is currently on loan at Catania but is co-owned by Juve and Udinese.

Juve shelled out €28m to capture the 31-year-old Frenchman from Ligue 1 outfit Monaco in 2000. He has made over 200 appearances for the Turin powerhouse and has a contract until 2011, with wages of €4.8 per season.
