David Beckham Still The Highest Paid Player

AC Milan - David BeckhamDavid Beckham, currently on loan at AC Milan from the LA Galaxy, tops the list of the highest earners in football today. The England star is joined by club-mates Kaka and Ronaldinho.

Meanwhile, Barcelona’s Lionel Messi comes in second place and Ballon d’Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo is also included. Three English internationals in Wayne Rooney, Frank Lampard, and John Terry round out the top ten.

In terms of coaching, two ex-Chelsea tacticians lead the way. Inter boss Jose Mourinho earns approximate €11 million, while Luiz Felipe Scolari earns slightly more than the ‘Special One’ from his contract with the Blues, valued at €12.5 million.
