Manchester United and English international Wayne Rooney will  soon become a father, as his wife Coleen has been pregnant for three months. The news came out soon after England’s win over Slovakia.

Rooney admitted recently that he would like three or four children, having grown up with many siblings. Coleen, however, is not greatly keen on the idea just yet.

“Until you’ve had one child you can’t really tell how many you’d like,” the 22-year-old admitted.

Bookmakers have already started taking bets on what the Rooney’s will name their firstborn, with odds sitting at 4-1 on ‘Alex’ (after Sir Alex Ferguson) and a less convincing 25-1 on a baby girl being named ‘Waynetta’.

It is rumoured that a £1 million deal has been tabled for the first pictures of the couple’s baby which is due in late September.
