Inter Milan’s Julio Cesar Could Be Out For A Month
Inter Milan goalkeeper Julio Cesar limped off during the second half of the game with Udinese last night and the medical staff are concerned he picked up a thigh strain which could rule him out of action for around a month, according to FcInterNews.
The 29-year-old got injured while coming out of his line to pluck the ball away from Udinese and Italy winger Simone Pepe.
He immediately felt pain in his thigh muscle, but remained on the field for a few minutes to better ascertain the extent of the problem before eventually asking to be replaced.
The Brazilian international is expected to undergo further tests today and if the initial diagnosis will be confirmed, he could miss at least four Serie A games, including the big match with second-placed Juventus on April 18, and the return leg of the Coppa Italia semifinal with Sampdoria.
