Juventus Moving Closer To Napoli’s Marek Hamsik
Juventus are moving closer to making a move for Napoli ace Marek Hamsik as they plan to strengthen for next season. Tuttosport claims the Slovakian international has not been playing to the best of his ability because he has his mind on moving to a bigger club this summer, reportedly Juventus.
According to voices in Turin, the Azzurri midfielder has already been in contact with the Bianconeri. The Old Lady have been monitoring the player’s progress over the course of the season and they have liked what they have seen.
Although Napoli have maintained their desire to keep their star players, director Pier Paolo Marino’s interview with Radio Rai suggests that the club could be about to shift their stance.
“We want to keep Hamsik and [Ezequiel] Lavezzi, but it’s also down to them to want to stay,” said Marino.
“Of course, we would never send them away.”
Juve are expected to pounce for the young star during the next transfer window. The club have also been linked with Werder Bremen’s Diego and Valencia’s David Silva by Italian reports.
