Last Season For Maldini, Not For Ancelotti
Following the 2-0 victory away to Catania, which allowed Milan to increase the gap over third-placed Juventus to four points, captain Paolo Maldini commented on the match and his future to Mediaset.
“We are doing well, we are in a good condition now,” he said. “We also have motivation, as we want to improve our position in the table, also compared to last season.
“The penalties? We are a team that plays in attack, with the ball on the ground, it’s normal that we’re awarded many penalties.”
Commenting on his career, the legendary Milan captain said: “It will be my last season, I’m doing well, but it’s the right time to quit.”
On coach Carlo Ancelotti‘s future, the Rossoneri’s captain commented: “I think he will stay, there is a harmony between the team, the coach, and the club, I think he will stay at Milan.”
