Torino Officialy Sign Blerim Dzemaili From Bolton Wanderers
Despite their relegation to Serie B, Torino have managed to secure the services of promising midfielder Blerim Dzemaili from Bolton Wanderers.
The Swiss playmaker spent the 2008-09 campaign on loan in Turin, flourishing in a deep midfield role. He was one of the few bright spots in the Granata’s lacklustre campaign.
The 23-year-old joined Bolton from FC Zurich in 2007, but due to injury only made one appearance for the English outfit and was subsequently allowed to leave on loan.
He has seemingly found a home with Torino and has been signed for an undisclosed fee according to Bolton’s official website. It is a major coup for the relegated club, as the likes of Lazio and Napoli were also interested in the player. President Urbano Cairo is eager to remain competitive and bring his club back up to the top flight as soon as possible.
Overall, Dzemaili made 30 appearances for the Italians last season.
