Milan To Offer Gattuso New Contract

AC Milan Football News - GattusoMilan midfielder Gennaro Gattuso is set to remain with his club for the rest of his career – as according to milannews.it, the World Cup winner will shortly sign a new deal.

Apparently the club and the midfielder have already agreed on all the details and soon there will be an official announcement which will put to rest all the speculation that had veen swirling around the player in the past month.

Gattuso had been linked to Chelsea, with his former mentor Carlo Ancelotti extremely keen to take him to London with him.

However, following these latest reports, Ringhio will remain for many more years at Milanello and thus emulate other great Rossoneri players of the past who remained at the club until they retired.

The 31-year-old player has been at Milan since 1999, making 276 league appearances and scoring seven goals for the club during those ten years.

No details have yet emerged about the number of years on the contract, or the salary, but more will be revealed in the coming hours or days.
