FC Porto have completed the signing of Olympiakos creative midfielder Fernando Belluschi, the Portuguese club have confirmed on their official website.

The Argentina international has signed a four-year contract with the Dragons after Porto and Olympiakos agreed a €5 million fee for 50 per cent of the midfielder’s playing rights.

Belluschi, whose buy-out clause is now set at €30 million, is hoping to add some much-needed creativity to Porto’s midfield following the departure of Lucho Gonzalez to Marseille.

He has become Porto’s seventh summer signing, following in the footsteps of the likes of Alvaro Pereira from CFR Cluj and Nacional da Madeira’s Maicon.

Belluschi, who joined Olympiakos from River Plate in January 2008 for €6.5 million, is expected to finalise his switch to Porto in the coming days after passing a medical.
