Palermo’s Igor Budan Wants First Away Win

Igor BudanPalermo striker Igor Budan has recovered from the long-term injury that has blighted his season to date and his performances on the pitch are getting better match after match.

Budan says he wants to keep improving, as he wants to repay the supporters and club’s trust in him. The Croatian hitman has already done this to a certain extent, having already scored two goals in Serie A so far.

“I feel ready,” declared the former Parma player to ilpalermocalcio.it.

“My physical condition is improving and I hope to continue on this path.

“The fans have always supported me, they believed in me, just like the club, and now it can only get better.

“After the win against Juventus, it is necessary to search again for the same game and the same results, considering that we are not far away from the top positions in the standings.

“We want to improve away from home and obtain more points away from the Barbera stadium,” said Budan, in conclusion.

Palermo will face bottom-side Livorno away from home as they look to improve on their 10th position in the standings.
