Juventus ace Diego is confident of leaving his mark against Fiorentina when the two teams clash on Saturday.

The Old Lady are hoping to bounce back from the 2-0 loss to Palermo on Matchday 7, and Diego is ready to lead the charge. However, he is well aware that beating Fiorentina will take more than raw talent.

“It will be a duel between two teams with a great rivalry,” Diego is quoted as saying on Goal.com Italia.

“We are playing at home in front of our fans and I want to score. We want to cancel out the game against Palermo and make up for our mistakes.”

Diego is keen to swivel around potential pitfalls, insisting that his side cannot afford to drop more points.

“We have a clear objective and that is to win the league, therefore we don’t want to drop anymore points,” concluded the playmaker.
