Radio Sei reports that Lazio star Mauro Zarate has expressed his delight with how things are going in the Eternal City, and wants to continue to entertain the Biancocelesti fans for years to come.

“I’m feeling very good here and I’m very happy,” said Zarate.

When the 22-year-old was asked about the situation regarding Goran Pandev and Cristian Ledesma, he was not quite so enamoured.

After Lorenzo De Silvestri was sold to Fiorentina, the two remaining ‘rebels’ have been frozen out of the squad and do not appear to be returning any time soon.

“They are both excellent players, they have always shown that. But, for the moment, we have to think of the squad that we have,” Zarate concluded.
