Football News – According to AS, Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo says he in ‘convinced” that his side can capture all three trophies this season despite the recent run of poor results.

The shock 4-0 defeat to Alcorcon in the first leg of the Copa del Rey fourth round was Madrid’s third defeat in five games but the Portuguese winger is pragmatic about the loss and says they have already moved on.

“That’s already happened, we lost. The team has been hard hit by the defeat, but now the atmosphere is already different. These things happen. We are better than that and are going to get a result against Getafe,” he insisted, before defending under fire coach Manuel Pellegrini.

“The solution is not to throw the coach out. There is no need to change anything, the team will come out of this rut. I am convinced we will win the League and Cup and the Champions [League],” Ronaldo declared.

Ronaldo added that he believes his side can also get the desired resulting the midweek UEFA Champions League tie at Milan but said that he will not be rushing himself back from injury but would like to play in the return leg against Alcorcon as Madrid look to banish the four goal humiliation.

“The Milan is going to be a difficult game, but I am convinced we will get a result. If I am well enough I want to play against Alcorcon but only if I have recovered one hundred percent,” he said.
