Eredivisie Football News – According to a report on it’s official website, Ajax have received some disappointing news on the injury front in the buildup toward the highly anticipated league clash against Feyenoord on Sunday.

Danish winger Dennis Rommedahl sustained a hamstring injury in the opening minutes of his side’s 2-1 KNVB Beker win against Dordrecht on Thursday and will be unavailable for a while.

The quick attacker was forced to leave the pitch after only 22 minutes due to the knock and underwent further examination on Friday to clarify the seriousness of his injury.

Rommedahl will be sidelined for at least three weeks due to the hamstring injury, meaning that he will miss Sunday’s Eredivisie match.

Furthermore, gifted playmaker Ismail Aissati will also miss the game against Feyenoord. The young midfielder is being plagued by muscular trouble and needs rest in order to fully recover.
