Brazil Football News – According to Goal, Brazilian hitman Nene helped Cagliari to their third straight win in Serie A yesterday by netting a double in a 3-0 demolition of Atalanta and is now hoping that Brazil national team coach Carlos Dunga will start taking notice.

“It was my second start and I have netted four goals so far,” he said to the club’s website. “I am adapting to Italian football and to the team’s system.

“Whenever I score a goal I always thank God first. And then I thank my team-mates and my family. Now I want the Selecao. That’s the dream of any Brazilian: why shouldn’t I believe in it?

“When I was playing in my country, my objective was to play in Europe and I managed it.

“Now I have this great opportunity to do well in Italy. Why shouldn’t I keep dreaming?”

Cagliari signed Nene from Portuguese outfit Nacional last summer for a fee in the region of €4.5 million.
