Football Transfer News – Genoa are looking to splash the cash on Sporting Clube de Portugal’s defensive midfielder Miguel Veloso, who was previously the subject of an offer from Premier League outfit Bolton Wanderers, according to Itasportpress.

The Rossoblu are readying a €12 million bid for the Portuguese ace. Sporting have recently parted company with coach Paulo Bento, who had been in charge since 2005.

The young trainer brought Veloso into the Leoes’ first team, and his departure could prompt the 23-year-old to leave for pastures new.
