It was a very tight game at Standford Bridge as predicted. To great Premier League rivals, Chelsea and Manchester United did what they could to get three important points from this game.

The visitors were very aggressive in the early minutes of the game forcing the blues to do much more defending. The home side though did counter attacked well and managed to threaten United’s goal with some good crossing.

The only goal of the match came in 76th minute when Lampard floated a brilliant cross  into the penalty area. The cross was met with a flick header by John Terry and the ball zipped into the bottom right-hand corner.

Chelsea are now five points clear of Manchester United, who were usurped in the table by Arsenal following their victory against Wolves yesterday.
