Achille Emana Not Happy At Real Betis
Sky Sports reports that Real Betis midfielder Achille Emana has revealed his discontent at the club as he is not a regular in the side despite the club making strenuous efforts to keep him in the summer.
Birmingham City, Everton and Portsmouth were all rumoured to be interested in taking the Cameroon international to the Premier League while a number of French clubs also tracked his position.
But Betis held firm and Emana stayed loyal to the Andalucian club after they were relegated to la Segunda A, but he is now confused about why he was kept.
“I am here at Betis but I am not playing as much as I can or want,” he said.
“I stayed here because I wanted to help the club back into the top division, but to be honest I am not liking it much at the moment.
“I am a professional and I respect the coach’s decision, but this is not good.
“The club did not let me go because they priced me out of the market, they asked for a big fee, so it is strange that I am not playing,” he concluded.
