Juventus Striker David Trezeguet Teturned to Training
According to Datasport.it, Juventus striker David Trezeguet has resumed training with the squad after recovering from a throat problem.
The Frenchman has been out of action since his goal against Atalanta last Saturday. Coach Ciro Ferrara has a depleted squad to train with following all the international absentees.
Trezeguet’s comeback is a welcome one. The hitman broke into the record books last week after equalling Omar Sivori’s 167 goal haul for the club.
The Bianconeri tried out different training exercises at Vinovo which included one on one challenges.
The session ended with a mini-match where Alessandro Del Piero took part. The Italian was in hot form as he sent a message that he is ready for action when it resumes following the international break.
There is also good news for Claudio Marchisio. He returned to the pitch following knee surgery last month, but he is unlikely to play against Udinese.
Mohamed Sissoko worked away from the rest of the squad while Jonathan Zebina was absent, but with the club’s permission.
Like Del Piero, Diego was also in great shape during the training session, leading to speculation that he could play alongside the Italian in Ferrara’s 4-2-3-1 system which has proved effective this term.
