Fiorentina midfielder Massimo Gobbi has declared his intentions to stay at the Gigliati, despite his current contract expiring at season’s end.

Discussions have not yet begun for the 29-year-old in regards to renewing his commitment to the Viola, but believes before Christmas, the process will begin.

“My intentions are those to stay here,” Gobbi stated to TMW.

“I still haven’t spoken to the society, but I believe that before Christmas, we will begin to discuss about a renewal.”

Fiorentina take on Parma this weekend when the league resumes from international duty.
