Vladimir Gabulov Signs New Dynamo Moscow Deal

Vladimir GabulovVladimir Gabulov, the highly-rated shot-stopper has signed a new contract at Russian outfit Dynamo Moscow. His club announced the news on their official website on Thursday. No details about the length of the new deal were revealed.

The 26-year-old glovesman joined his current team from Kuban Krasnodar in the summer of 2008 and has developed into an integral part of the Moscow side’s first team since.

Gabulov made his debut for Russia’s national side in 2007 and is the nation’s second choice goalkeeper behind CSKA Moscow star Igor Akinfeev.

The custodian’s contract extension is bad news for Zenit St. Petersburg, who were believed to be closely monitoring the situation of Gabulov.
