Liverpool Eyeing Everton Striker Louis Saha
Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez has finally decided that Fernando Torres needs a partner in attack and is aware that Louis Saha‘s ‘pay-as-you-play’ two-year contract expires in the summer, according to Daily Star Sunday.
This gives the Frenchman the right to discuss possible moves with other clubs from January.
Toffees boss David Moyes is expected to fight tooth and nail to keep the player though, and is expected to rush through a new contract for the striker that will keep him at Goodison Park.
He is extremely reluctant to let Saha leave, especially to Liverpool.
Many Kopites might well question the wisdom of moving for Saha, whose problems with injury have been well-documented.
He has, though, managed to score 12 goals in all competitions this season and has openly spoken of his desire to make the France World Cup squad.
