The London Evening Standard reports that West Ham United striker Carlton Cole has quashed speculation surrounding his future at Upton Park by pledging allegiance to the club.

Following good performances in the claret-and-blue jersey, the 26-year-old has been linked with a move to Arsenal, Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur and champions Manchester United.

The Hammers’ hitman is currently out with a knee-ligament problem and is expected to return in the new year. Presently, the ex-Chelsea player insists that he is happy plying his trade at Upton Park.

“It’s just paper talk and I haven’t heard anything about a move, I love West Ham. I just want to get back to playing and I can’t do anything while I’m injured.” he said.
