According to AS, Villarreal coach Ernesto Valverde said that his his team fully deserved their 2-1 Primera Liga win over Atletico Madrid at the Vicente Calderon. The Yellow Submarine gave a superb fight back as they came from a goal down at the interval.

“We dominated the game, but we lacked the finishing touch at times.
