Franck Ribery Set For Bayern Munich Comeback
Bayern Munich will face Hertha Berlin in next weekend’s Bundesliga clash. Good news for Bayern is that their winger Franck Ribery could play again after two and a half months of absence. Bayern coach Louis van Gaal is glad of the French star comback.
“He’s better than ever because he can train without pain, however, we will not take any risks, so he’ll probably only feature for a couple of minutes.” said the Dutchman at a press conference.
“When Ribery plays, the competition in the Bundesliga isn’t very strong anymore. Without him we already won 5-1 at Bochum,” smiled the former Barcelona coach.
“Mentally, I’ve had a difficult time,” Ribery added to German magazine Sport Bild recently. “Everything annoyed me. I’d had enough of being constantly in pain, when I was driving or even when I was just sitting down.”
