Alex Ferguson Happy With Manchester United’s Win Against Wolverhampton Wanderers
Sky Sports News reports that Sir Alex Ferguson expressed his happiness with his side’s performance after Manchester United trashed Wolverhampton Wanderers 3-0.
“We’ve done our job to get the three points tonight, We could’ve done better, but it wasn’t a bad performance. Once we got the first goal it was comfortable enough, ended up we could’ve scored more.” Fergusan said.
However, it wasn’t all good news, as Ferguson confirmed Nemanja Vidic as a new casualty in his already crippled defence, which leaves United with no fit centre halves in their squad ahead of clash against Fulham on Saturday.
“He’s got a calf strain, we’ll have to wait and see how he is. We couldn’t risk it any further, as soon as we knew we had to take him off,” he said.
