Internacional Loans Ajax Defender Bruno Silva

Bruno Silva Eredivisie Football News – Amsterdam powerhouse Ajax have confirmed that Uruguayan defender Bruno Silva will leave the club for Internacional on loan. The right-back has signed a one-year loan deal at the Brazilian outfit.

Silva recently expressed his desire to leave Ajax in order to get regular first team football elsewhere, thus safeguarding his spot in Uruguay’s World Cup squad, and has now secured his desired transfer.

The 29-year-old joined Ajax from Groningen in January 2008 and made a good start to life at the Amsterdam ArenA. However, he lost his spot in the starting XI to Gregory van der Wiel last season and has mainly been warming the bench since.

The defender is the second player to leave Ajax in the winter transfer window. Argentinian forward Dario Cvitanich left the Eredivisie giants for Pachuca earlier this week.
