Lazio Trash Livorno 4-1

Lazio vs Livorno Lazio got their three points with a 4-1 convincing win over Livorno in the Serie A today.

It was the visitors who broke the deadlock against the run of play after Modibo Diakite let Bergvold slip past him inside the box. The Dane wasted nothing in front of goal and he coolly slotted the ball past Muslera to freeze the spirits of the Lazio faithful.

At the second half Lazio came out fighting and they took just 180 seconds to restore parity when Floccari smashed home Zarate low cross to leave De Lucia beaten at the near post. The Italian hitman couldn’t have made a better debut and the Olimpico faithful paid tribute as she erupted into euphoria.

Five minutes later the Aquile took the lead and once again it was Floccari who did the damage in front of goal. This time the assist was served by Rocchi who did exceptionally well to cut another inviting ball into the path of his fellow striker, and the former Genoa man slotted home with a subtle chip over the ‘keeper.

At the death the Biancocelesti were awarded a penalty kick after Rocchi was brought down by a helpless De Lucia. Kolarov stepped up from twelve yards and didn’t disappoint and he smashed a rocket into the top corner.
