Luis Fabiano Wants A Trophy With Sevilla This Season
Sevilla and Brazilian international striker Luis Fabiano – who is set to return to training this week following an ankle sprain that was worse than he originally feared – aims to lift Los Palanganas all the way to a title, according to Spanish daily AS.
“I did not think it was so bad [the injury], but it was the ligaments and that meant more time out. despite the setback, Fabiano revealed his rehabilitation is going well and that he is looking forward to getting back on the training ground. I feel a little better about the injury. My treatment is going very well because my ankle does not hurt much. I’m looking forward to training now.” He said
While admitting he wasn’t sure of the exact date he will return to action, the former Porto man is expected to be fully fit before the end of the month and said he was “happy” with his recovery.
Looking forward to 2010, Fabiano then proclaimed his faith in the squad without him and revealed his belief in the club’s ability to claim some silverware this season.
“I wish for good health and that Sevilla is still great as a team, hopefully we can win a title.”
