EPL Football News – Manchester City forward Carlos Tevez has been on top form lately. The Argentine hitman scored eight goals in seven matches over the festive period. So it wasn’t so surprising that Tevez was named Barclays Player of the Month for December, and the player is delighted for this achievement.

“I’m delighted to win the award, but I want to give credit to my team mates for all their help,  It’s not just down to me, without them I would not get my chances to score and it’s important that we keep this going with some important games coming up.” Tevez told the club’s officials website.

Now a firm favourite with City fans after his move from rivals Manchester United, he has now found the target a dozen times since settling in at Eastlands.
