Coach Morten Olsen Signs New Denmark Contract
Denmark Football News – Morten Olsen will still coach Denmark until the 2012 Euro, after he signed a contract extension as national team coach.
The 60-year-old first took the job as Denmark gaffer in 2000, when he succeeded Swedish manager Bo Johansson. Olsen has since guided Denmark to the 2002 World Cup, Euro 2004 and the 2010 World Cup.
The former Ajax boss’ tenure was due to expire after the 2010 World Cup, but both parties had already expressed their desire to continue the collaboration.
Denmark will dace Holland, Cameroon and Japan during this summer’s World Cup in South Africa.
