English Premier League Football News – According goal, Blackburn Rovers manager Sam Allardyce has revealed that he will be bringing a couple of new faces in the January transfer window. Reports say that Eidur Gudjohnsen and South Korean Koo Ja-cheol, could be the players Allardyce meant.

Allardyce is desperate to bring in new attacking talent as Blackburn have managed to score just 20 goals in as many league games this season.

“Money is available and ideally I would like to bring in two more players who are tactically and technically astute. The chairman has been working extremely hard to find the additional funds for the players.” Allardyce told goal.com.

It is said that South African striker Benni McCarthy will be released in the transfer window which could help Blackburn finance both deals. Some clubs are said to be interested in McCarthy, Everton are said to be one of the club interested to sign the player who is thought to be available for £2 million.
