Fulham Coach Roy Hodgson: We Will Offer Erik Nevland a New Contract
EPL Football News – Fulham boss Roy Hodgson says that he is keen to keep striker Erik Nevland with Fulham and will offer the player a new deal, according to Sky Sports and the Press Association.
“I definitely will offer Nevland a new contract. We will discuss the length of the contract with the player and his agent during January,” Hodgson said.
Nevland himself is quite happy to extend his contract, despite reported interest in his native Norway from Viking.
“It is fantastic to be in the Premier League, and not something that you would give up on easily, I am very positive to be staying here but I don’t want to say too much until I get an offer and see what that will mean.” he said.
Despite featuring mainly from the bench during his two years at Craven Cottage, Nevland has scored eight goals and had been a quite important part of the squad.
