Serie A Football News – AC Milan captain Massimo Ambrosini is trying to determine a way of catching up with league leaders Inter Milan, but he has warned it will be difficult, unless the Nerazzurri engage the handbrake, according to Sky Sport Italia.

The 3-0 win over Juventus on Sunday night allowed Ambrosini and company to close the gap behind Inter to eight points with a game in hand. However, Ambrosini has raised new questions over whether his side can catch  Inter given their dominance thus far.

“Of course we are all very happy, but if Inter continue as they are then there is little we can do about it,” he said after Monday’s training session.

Milan clash with Siena next, before taking on Inter. They conclude January with a rearranged visit to Fiorentina and a home game against Livorno.
