Napoli And Ezequiel Lavezzi Agree On New Deal Until 2015
Serie A Football News – Napoli forward Ezequiel Lavezzi is injured for at least five weeks. But, on a brighter note, club president Aurelio De Laurentiis has confirmed a new five year extension for ‘El Pocho’ is in the offing.
De Laurentiis however, did confirm reports claiming Lavezzi was in line for a new contract.
“We have reached an agreement on how to take the contract until 2015, there was never any problem regarding the deal. When you negotiate then both parties have to agree as it’s always bilateral.” the chief told the press.
The Argentinian hitman had to come off during the game against Sampdoria after pulling up with a problem. Il Corriere Dello Sport claims a scan on the player this morning has shown a hamstring tear that will take at least five weeks to heal, though this has not yet been confirmed by the club.
