Sir Alex Ferguson: Ben Foster Not Leaving Manchester United
English Football News – Manchester Untied boss Sir Alex Ferguson said that there is no possibility of sending 27-year-old Ben Foster on loan, according to the Press Association.
With Edwin van der Sar returning after injury, Foster isĀ now surely third in the pecking order, after the Dutchman and Tomasz Kuszczak.
Foster is said wanting a loan move from United to secure first-team football in hope of earning a spot in Fabio Capello‘s England squad.
“There is absolutely no chance of loaning Ben out, absolutely none.” Ferguson said.
“The World Cup is four months ahead. Let’s hope he gets some football that gives him a chance. It is Fabio’s decision but Ben’s qualities are going to put him forward as a definite choice and England are not endowed with great goalkeepers.” He added.
