Fergie to Rest Rooney in Carling Cup Final?

Manchester United Coach Sir Alex Ferguson is considering to rest Wayne Rooney when United face Aston Villa in the Carling Cup final, on Sunday (28/2/2010) Well is that true?

Rooney’s performance has resulted  a fantastic 27 goals for the Red Devils in all competitions. Including two goal during Uniteds’s victory over AC Milan in the Champions League, needing only 15 more goals to match the record of Cristiano Ronaldo who scored 42 goals for United in the 2007/2008 season ago.

Still, Ferguson is now thinking of resting Rooney. United’s busy schedule for the next few weeks seems to be a concern for the Scottish coach.
