Borriello Happy to be Back with Italy
AC Milan striker Marco Borriello is happy with his good performance at his club where he often scored important goals, which led him back to the Italian national team.
Borriello was called back by Marcelo Lippi to face Cameroon, next Wednesday.
After knowing that he is included in the Italian squad, the former Genoa player can not hide his happiness. “I am pleased to have the opportunity to wear the costume of Italy in the game against Cameroon,” Borriello said.
The 27-year-old player promised to do his best to win a place in the 2010 World Cup squad, next summer.
“Nothing has been decided for the World Cup. So this may be an opportunity for me to help Lippi know me better,” Borriello told Milan’s official site.
