Glazers Won’t Sell Manchester United
Red Knights‘ ambition to save Manchester United seem to be difficult. Because, it is believed that Glazers family will not sell the Premier League champions, according to The Red Devil‘s CEO David Gill.
In fact, Gill defended the owner Malcolm Glazers. He believes that the Glazers family have managed the club very well.
Gill criticized the Red Knights. He questions the plan of party consisting of United fans and managed by a financial expert Keith Harris.
“Glazers have a very long time and has demonstrated its capacity when he was with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. One of the American Football team who were able to rise in the 1994-1995 season, ” explained Gill.
“They are not like them who call themselves the Red Knights. Glazers did not indicate the intention of selling the team. Red Knights can not buy these assets. United is not for sale, ” he said.
“The Glazers does not have the desire to sell the team and from our standpoint, they’ve run the club properly,” he said quoted from Soccerex, Thursday (4/3/2010).
