Thomas Mueller Happy He Made His Germany Debut

The international debut of Bayern Munich attacker Thomas Mueller was one of the few highlights as Germany put in a rather disappointing performance against Argentina in Wednesday’s international friendly as they were eventually beaten 1-0 following a Gonzalo Higuain goal.

Mueller was surely very happy with his first appearance for Germany’s senior side.

“It was a great feeling to make my international debut in a game against such a strong opponent. Too bad we were unable to record a good result,” said Mueller at the post-match press conference.

“There’s still time before the World Cup squad will be announced. I think I did a good job against Argentina, but I’ll have to keep up my good form if I want to make it to South Africa.”
