Concentration is the Key for Chelsea’s victory

Chelsea did very well to beat Stoke City, which in the previous round eliminated two big team. This win shows how vital the effect of The Blues‘ concentration of  throughout the match.

Chelsea are through  to the FA Cup semi-finals after a 2-0 win from Stoke at Stamford Bridge on Sunday (7/3/2010). In this game ‘The Blue” came with full force.

Stoke failed to make an upset like they did as they eliminated Arsenal and Manchester City before. Chelsea dominated them in this match. Stoke’s typical deadly attacks from dead balls did not appear in this match.

Chelsea’s assistant manager, Ray Wilkins said that the victory was a result 90 minutes focus from the players.

“Stoke was a  heavy opponent and they are very well organized. It puts you in a difficult situation, but our concentration was fantastic,” he said to Sporting Life.

“They also keep you under pressure, especially from dead balls. But our defense is strong enough,” he continued.
