Alberto Zaccheroni: Fulham Will Be a Tough Challenge
Juventus will meet Fulham in the second leg of their Europa League tie at Craven Cottage tomorrow evening, and Juve coach Alberto Zaccheroni already warns his team that a it will be a tough challenge and that they have to show a good team performance.
Going in the match leading 3-1 from the first leg win Zaccheroni still urges his squad to stay focus.
“We are aware of what Fulham are capable of and the problems they caused us in the first match. They keep their shape well and have a good coach [Roy Hodgson] who understands Italian football,” Zaccheroni said in a press conference today.
“We must keep our concentration and play as a unit. I have no doubt that tomorrow will be a very tough match both psychologically and physically because of Fulham’s pace and intensity. It is important to us, and to the supporters. I want to stress that we really care [about the Europa League].” He added
Zaccehroni also mentioned that young goalkeeper Carlo Pinsoglio will be starting in goal, due to the injury of both Gianluigi Buffon and Alex Manninger. He also said that have not seen the youngster play a full match before.
“I have never seen him play a full match, but looking at his attributes I am convinced he has a great future ahead of him.”
