Ranieri No Longer Interested in Chasing the Scudetto

Roma coach Claudio Ranieri prefers to look at reality about his team’s chances in winning the scudetto.

“When we lose, dreams of glory fade, and when we win, the Scudetto is ours. We have to stay focused and do our work. It’s right for the city to dream, but we have to think about Bologna, Inter remain the favourties for the title. The other contenders are Milan, and they will fight it out among themselves.” he told the press.

“We have to keep our feet on the ground without kidding ourselves. We are only focused on Bologna, and we are not thinking about Inter.”

Roma captain Francesco Totti could make his return after his knee problem when they play Inter on Saturday. The playmaker has been racing against time to be fit for the showdown.

“Totti has worked on his own, and with the group. We will see. It’s important that he gets better,” Ranieri concluded.?
