Visitors Mainz Made a Stunning Comeback To Beat Wolfsburg 4-3

Mainz staged a scintillating comeback against former German champions VfL Wolfsburg in their German Bundesliga game at the Volkswagen Arena on Saturday afternoon to win the match 4-3.

They were 3-0 down inside the first 30 minutes but netted four times in the subsequent stages of the game.

Striker Edin Dzeko scored twice in the space of five minutes and new signing Diego netted Wolfsburg’s third on the half hour mark with a header to put Wolfe 3-0 up but Morten Rasmussen pulled one back for Mainz in the 39th minute.

Second-half goals from Elkin Soto, Andre Schurrie and Adam Szalai saw Mainz accomplish a 4-3 comeback win over Wolfsburg, who have now lost both their Bundesliga games this season. On the other hand, Mainz are second in the table with two wins from as many matches.
