Young German midfielder who shone at the 2010 World Cup, Thomas Muller, admitted that he does not mind giving the number 13 jersey to Michael Ballack.

Lately, Ballack who was not brought to South Africa is getting back into the national team, and will be captain of the team. However, an injury which has not recovered still made him have to wait for his come back, and will miss the game against Belgium and Azerbaijan in the Euro 2012 qualifiers.

“When Micha [Ballack] is back to the national team, he will probably ask for that number. He will get that number, because I have no other choice, “said Muller to Koelner Express and TZ.

Muller claimed to feel proud to wear the number 13 jersey. Because the number that many people consider as bad luck is associated with one of German football legend, Gerd Muller.

“Of course it was a very good number, because it is associated with Gerd,” Muller said.
